Rug Pad Buying Guide - Ultra Premium Rug Pad
There seems to be many rug pads available that resemble Ultra Premium rug pad. The facts about Ultra Premium are that it is made of a recycled felt jute surface and a real, natural layer of rubber. The rubber prevents slipping and is completely safe for all hard floors. The felt surface is slightly textured and this is meant to grab the rug above it and prevent movement. Ultra Premium felt and rubber rug pad for hardwood floors, hard floors and carpet is 1/4 of an inch thick and is made with a needle punch process that heat seams the felt to the rubber.
Use Ultra Premium rug pad on all hard floors under any type of area rug. It works excellent with flat weave rugs such as aubusson rugs, needlepoint rugs, sisal rugs and soumak rugs as it holds the rug to the floor and protects the back of the rug. Flip it over with rubber side up and Ultra Premium works great for rugs on carpet to keep them flat and wrinkle free.
